I am a Permanent Senior Scientist and Principal investigator at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. My research falls at the interface between fluid dynamics, soft matter physics and biology, on a topic that presents both a range of fundamental scientific questions and a wealth of practical implications: the formation of bacterial biofilms in flow.
